Voting polls were not ready for voters on Election Day in Maricopa County. Equipment that allows poll workers to verify voters’ identities had not been set up, leaving many voters unable to secure their ballots for hours.

Maricopa County recorder, Adrian Fontes, and a Tempe-based technology company are being blamed for lack of preparedness.

Phoenix-based election law attorney, Joseph Kanefield, said, “Voters could sue if they felt their right to vote was denied.”
