Ballard Spahr attorneys David Arsmtrong and Alicia Clark assisted New York Life Insurance Co. in purchasing a 42-acre parcel and accompanying distribution development in Phoenix for $35 million.

The property has a 659,700-square-foot Class A distribution building with 36-foot ceilings, and is located near Interstate 10 in between it junctures with the Loop 101 freeway and Interstate 17 in west Phoenix.

Wentworth and Crow are holding into another part of the 10 West property. Their plans could result in another 568,300-square-foot warehouse building being developed there. “We believe that Phase 1 at 10 West Logistics Center is the finest building ever built in the Southwest Valley,” said WPC Principal James Wentworth Jr. “The fact that New York Life wanted to purchase this building speaks to the caliber of the property.”
