The Federal Trade Commission on Friday took aim at a Pennsylvania district court’s disposal of a pair of suits accusing GlaxoSmithKline PLC of paying generic-drug makers to withhold their versions of antidepressant Wellbutrin XL, telling the Third Circuit the court adopted an “untenably narrow view” of antitrust legal precedent.

GlaxoSmithKline is represented by Stephen Kastenberg, Leslie John, Ed Rogers, Jason Leckerman, Jessica Anthony, Marcel Pratt and Barbara Schwartz of Ballard Spahr LLP.
