John B. Kearney, a frequent lecturer on eDiscovery and head of the New Jersey office's Litigation Group, is the author of a book chapter, titled "Current Trends in Litigation Involving the Use of Social Media."

In a Q&A with Best Lawyers, Kearney talks about how social media has an impact on court cases. He suggests that social media accounts can help bolster attorney cases.

"In the last five years, I noticed how people, mostly under 40, were willing to share with the world through social media just about everything they did and thought. For litigation lawyers, information is power."
