Companies in Utah will grow by 9,164 jobs thanks to incentives by the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED), if projections are accurate. This is a new record, up from 9,065 jobs in the previous year. Jerold G. Oldroyd, Chair of the GOED incentives committee and a partner at Ballard Spahr, explained that Utah worked hard to give good incentives for companies to expand in the state.
