A former lawyer for one of the nation’s biggest credit card issuers has a new home for his practice.

Glen P. Trudel, an attorney who specializes in credit card transactions, has joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in its Wilmington, Delaware, office. He will be a member of the firm’s Consumer Financial Services, Bank Regulation and Supervision, and Transactional Finance groups.

For the past seven years, Mr. Trudel has been a partner with Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz in Wilmington. He previously served as senior vice president and counsel at MBNA, the credit card issuer acquired in 2006 by Bank of America.
