Ballard Spahr's Abran Vigil, Ann Marie Hansen, Bruce F. Johnson, and Michael R. McNerny are representing creditor U.S. Bank National Association in a suit filed in Clark County District Court seeking payment on what remains of a $1.9 million loan to the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts. The creditor has asked for appointment of a receiver for the property owned by the foundation, which  funded the now-shuttered Liberace Museum in Las Vegas.

U.S. Bank and other creditors claim the foundation defaulted on the loan numerous times, and that the last payment was made in February 2012. Payments on the 20-year loan, secured by a deed of trust, were to have continued through June 2020.
