Ballard Spahr’s Washington, D.C., office has traded in its grandfather clocks for chic floor-to-ceiling windows with its move to the Millennium Building at 1909 K St.

The spacious, well-lit, modern new space houses 46 attorneys, but has space for 72. Office Managing Partner Joseph A. Fanone hopes to fill these spaces with lateral recruiting. He hopes to expand the consumer financial services, government affairs, securities law, energy, housing, and litigation practices.

Ballard Spahr plans a September open house to show off the new space.
