Two major real estate transactions completed this year indicate that GSEs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will have a strong appetite for multifamily deals, especially for assets located in the Washington, D.C., region. The transactions included one of the largest loans Freddie Mac has closed this year—a $328 million deal by DP Portfolio Investors, a joint venture between affiliates of Pantzer Properties and Dune Real Estate Partners.

Ballard Spahr attorneys Marci I. Gordon, Wendi L. Kotzen, Eben C. Hansel, and Benjamin A. Kelley represented Pantzer Properties in the matter.
