Phoenix law firm Gallagher & Kennedy was disqualified by an Arizona federal judge from representing the Roosevelt Irrigation District in part of its lawsuit against several companies for allegedly contaminating the district's groundwater. The firm no longer will be able to represent the district in its claims against Honeywell International, Corning Inc., Univar USA Inc., Dolphin Inc., and the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District.

“I really found it to be a thoughtful, well-reasoned and sound decision with the right result,” said Ballard Spahr's David J. Armstrong, who represents Salt River Project in the case.
