When former Gov. Edward G. Rendell isn't giving speeches or appearing on television, he will be in familiar territory, serving for the second time as a partner at Ballard Spahr. Gov. Rendell was a partner at the firm from 2000 through early 2003 between his time as Mayor of Philadelphia and Governor of Pennsylvania. He is expected to spend 30 to 40 percent of his time at the firm, working across five different practice areas as well as helping clients understand the inner workings of government offices and agencies.
