Ballard Spahr is again expanding its litigation capability in the West, this time with the addition of three noted intellectual property litigators in its Phoenix office, firm Chair Arthur Makadon announced. The move comes two months after the firm opened a second California office, in San Diego, focused on white collar defense and corporate investigations.

Brian W. LaCorte, joining Ballard Spahr as a partner, has represented an impressive roster of high-profile clients, including Go Daddy, in a variety of intellectual property litigation and transactional matters. Donna H. Catalfio, who also joins as a partner, is a registered patent attorney and handles intellectual property litigation matters and an extensive range of licensing matters. Andrea L. Stone, a registered patent attorney, joins Ballard Spahr as an associate. The team comes to Ballard Spahr from Gallagher & Kennedy in Phoenix.
