The Arizona legislature has significantly expanded and strengthened the state’s data breach notification law. This webinar will provide an in-depth analysis of the new law and place it into context with similar legislation enacted by other states over the past few months.  The speakers will also discuss notable modifications to Arizona’s data breach notification law, including:

  • Expanded definition of “personal information”
  • Extension to online account log-in information
  • 45-day deadline to provide notice
  • Contents of the notice
  • Notice to consumer reporting agencies and the attorney general
  • Increased civil penalties
