The regulatory environment for small business lending is rapidly evolving. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is seeking information about the small business lending market as part of its responsibilities under Section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act, Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II has launched an investigation into small business finance practices, and there also is significant activity at the state level.

In this webinar, we will address these issues, as well as:

  • The impact of federal legislation such as the Financial Choice Act

  • Self-regulation initiatives by various small business trade associations
