The consequences of climate change are an increasing concern for every aspect of our society, highlighting the need for more sustainable paths to development. This webinar will examine how higher education institutions can be leaders in addressing the challenge of climate change and implementing more sustainable patterns of development in ways that may support their institutional goals. We will also discuss how industry leaders can both respond to regulatory changes and take advantage of new business opportunities.

We'll hear how one college is making significant strides in the area of climate impact mitigation and sustainability, including the establishment of a college-wide carbon charge, and how it's benefitting both the campus and surrounding communities. In addition, we will discuss efforts being taken nationwide by educational institutions to reduce their environmental impacts and implement energy-saving initiatives.
