Neither the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission nor the Centers for Disease Control has issued any specific guidance for employers to deal with Ebola issues. With multiple Ebola cases diagnosed in the United States and several states expanding quarantine programs, however, employers should prepare for the myriad issues that are likely to emerge if their workforces are affected by the Ebola virus. In doing so, employers must consider a variety of laws that may have implications for any planned response to the threat of the virus in the workplace.

This webinar will discuss how employers can ensure that any efforts to prepare for or respond to the Ebola virus are consistent with applicable employment laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
