As the first of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Program deals have now closed and others are working their way through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approval process, there are lessons to be learned about financing tools, legal considerations, and tips on how best to complete a RAD transaction. HUD has and continues to make improvements to the RAD program to better ensure that it can leverage the resources needed to preserve and protect our vulnerable affordable housing stock.

This panel will explore these issues and offer practical suggestions for how to use RAD for different types of properties in different communities across the country. Our topics include:

  • Current Status of RAD from the HUD Perspective
  • Legal Considerations
  • Developer Participation
  • Lender Issues
  • RAD Considerations for Housing Authorities

Join us online via WebEx as our guest panel explores this topic and addresses your questions.
