Join Ballard Spahr for informative and lively discussions with affordable-housing leaders and innovators from around the country at our Eighth Annual National Housing Symposium, "Affordable Housing: Putting the Pieces Together." Learn about recent developments in the industry and how to make the various housing pieces fit to create affordable, sustainable housing projects for the future.

We are pleased to announce our keynote speaker will be Barry Zigas, Director of Housing Policy for Consumer Federation of America and a member of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Housing Commission. Mr. Zigas will provide the Commission's perspective on GSE Reform.

In addition, our day will include the popular Heard on the Hill discussion as well as engaging panel presentations, including:

  • Utilizing the Most Recent HUD Programs in Your Affordable Housing Puzzle
Find out more information about the most recent HUD programs that can be used in your affordable housing project – Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD), FHA Modernization Program, LIHTC Pilot Program, and Section 232 LEAN.
  • Integrating the Fair Housing Component
This panel will discuss hot topics in Fair Housing, ADA, and Section 504 compliance and how they affect the design, construction, and operations in the development of affordable housing.
