As schools and universities increasingly rely on digital and web-based informational and course materials, it is critical that they are aware of their obligations to ensure that this content is accessible to the full range of audience members. To comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, institutions have unique responsibilities to enable individuals with disabilities to read, navigate, and participate online.

This webinar will explore emerging legal issues and steps to compliance in light of recent settlements and guidance regarding digital accessibility. We will review important steps to take in crafting accessibility policies, working with web developers, and training and communicating with various constituencies to ensure school-wide compliance.
