The new Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations will require health plans, health care providers, and many of their vendors to re-examine their privacy and security compliance efforts. Even those who have already taken measures to comply with the requirements of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH) will likely need to modify their HIPAA documents, including the basic notice of privacy practices, and provide new training to relevant personnel.
An action plan will be needed to meet the deadline of September 23, 2013. This webinar will guide you through the most significant changes and help set you on the path toward compliance.
