With the presidential election behind us, it’s time to take stock of the National Labor Relations Board’s recent activity—and explore what the future holds.

Although both employers and employees often assume the National Labor Relations Act applies only to unionized workplaces, the Act also protects certain types of employee actions in non-union settings. Many of the Obama Board’s most controversial rulings have arisen in non-union workplaces. Among the topics addressed by these decisions are class action waivers, employee handbook disclaimers, the confidentiality of workplace harassment investigations, and social media activity.

In this webinar, we'll analyze these rulings and the unprecedented impact they will have on businesses across the nation. In addition, we will discuss potential future Board actions, including the likely move to quicker union elections and the pending challenge to the constitutionality of the President's recess appointments to the Board.
