Whether a project includes the addition of a rooftop deck on a house in a local historic district or making an alteration to an historically designated high-rise building, the approval of the Philadelphia Historical Commission is likely a key prerequisite. This program will address the regulatory framework of Philadelphia's historic preservation ordinance, the role of the Historical Commission and its committees, appeals of Historical Commission decisions, and recent caselaw and regulatory developments. Presenters include Ballard Spahr partners Matt McClure and Joanne Phillips, as well as Historical Commission Executive Director Jonathan E. Farnham, Ph.D.
