The phone rings. A friend or a family member is having a problem at work and wants your advice. How can you tell if you're hearing a normal gripe or something more?

This program will address such common workplace issues as working with injury and illness, pregnancy, free speech, interviews, hiring and background checks, severance and layoffs, working through breaks, and not getting along with the boss. We will help you know how to respond the next time a friend calls seeking free advice and when to send your caller to an employment lawyer.
