A New Jersey federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by two FedEx drivers who claimed that they were wrongfully fired because of an argument with a fellow employee and for the social media posts that occurred after the argument.

Judge Noel Hillman explained his decision saying that the two drivers could not provide a causal link between the argument and Facebook posts and their termination from FedEx.

FedEx was represented by Ballard Spahr attorney David Fryman.
