Tobey M. Daluz, managing partner of the firm's Wilmington, DE, office and co-partner-in-charge of the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Capital Recovery Group, was a featured speaker at the DuPont 10th Anniversary Minority Counsel Conference (MCC).

Ms. Daluz was a participant in the presentation "Inside the Minds of MCN Alumni and Chief Legal Diversity Officers."  The seven-member panel featured perspectives on and around issues of mentoring and retention.

MCC is hosted by the DuPont Legal Minority Counsel Network. Each year the conference brings together attorneys of color from the legal department of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and its primary law firm providers in an effort to promote the advancement and success of minority attorneys.

Ms. Daluz is a member of Ballard's Litigation Department and serves as co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee. She concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate restructuring, workouts, and general bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Daluz was appointed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to serve a three-year term on its Lawyers Advisory Committee, which comments on proposed rules of the Circuit and serves as a liaison between the Court and the legal community. She is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and is on the Advisory Board of the ABI Mid-Atlantic Bankruptcy Workshop. Ms. Daluz is the founding chair (now member) of the Delaware Network of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She is also a member of the Bankruptcy Law and the Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Sections of The Delaware State Bar Association.
