Ballard Spahr is working to close the success gap between women and men reaching the highest levels of the legal profession by building an all-women public finance group in Denver.
"It's a happy circumstance," said Ballard Spahr Partner Kimberly Reed. "It certainly is in line with the firm's goals with respect to diversity. ... And I think it’s a great thing for the Denver public finance community too." She said they are an example of women who have reached a high level in practicing law, despite the profession's challenges, and can support each other as part of the same group.
