Essentials – KBYO/TRID, TILA and RESPA | Sunday, May 1 | 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM
This refresher session will provide an overview of the CFPB’s Know Before You Owe (KBYO) or TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule as well as the other requirements of RESPA and TILA including TILA’s rescission and RESPA’s Section 8 provisions. Mr. Andreano will join a panel to outline how Section 8 has been applied by the CFPB to marketing arrangements between settlement service providers.

Emerging Law on Cyber Security | Tuesday, May 3 | 10:15 AM – 11:45 AM
Ms. Phan will join a panel to discuss the developing law on data security, including emerging case law, and focus on policies and procedures and other controls that lenders should implement now as they face new data collection and reporting challenges.

KBYO/TRID Liability | Tuesday, May 3 | 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM
With the KBYO/TRID rule in full effect, lenders and investors must navigate the liability that can stem from the use of the new forms. Mr. Andreano will join a group of panelists to discuss how the merged forms implicate RESPA and TILA liability respectively for lenders and assignees and how such liability is best mitigated.

State Regulatory Developments | Tuesday, May 3 | 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM
State legislation, regulation, supervision and enforcement efforts affecting the industry abound. Mr. Socknat and a panel of regulators and industry representatives will review the latest state law developments and trends including changes to the call report, multistate examination, servicing regulation, to name a few.
