
Richard A. Fineman is a real estate and project finance attorney with almost 30 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate matters, as well as complex, large-scale projects bridging real estate and finance work.
With a background as a general real estate lawyer counseling a broad range of clients across various sectors (including development, finance, acquisition, sales, leasing, condominiums and distressed real estate), Rich is particularly known for his cross-disciplinary skill set in coordinating, structuring, negotiating, documenting and administering the real estate and finance components of multi-faceted, large-scale development projects, including military housing, student housing, renewable energy, stadium, port-related, and privatization projects. Having represented private, governmental, higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit clients in various capacities during his career, Rich brings a unique perspective to transactions that enables him to propose innovative solutions to complicated issues.

- Real estate counsel to purchaser in connection with acquisition of natural gas refinery and power plant
- Represented lender in connection with acquisition and financing by affiliated borrowers of multiple natural gas-fired power facilities
