Ballard Spahr Represents EIP Holdings in Acquisition of Nearly 100 Wireless Communications Towers

Ballard Spahr represented EIP Holdings I, LLC in the acquisition of nearly 100 wireless tower assets from Frontier Communications, Inc. EIP Holdings is an entity affiliated with Everest Infrastructure Partners and owned and managed Barings LLC on behalf of institutional investors.

The towers are located in 17 states throughout the United States, with tower concentrations in Connecticut, New York, and California.

The Ballard Spahr team was led by Business and Finance Partner Nathan E. Seiler, who is Office Managing Partner for the firm's Boulder location. It included Business and Finance Partners Michael P. Warren and Mark D. Salsbury in Minneapolis; Litigation Partner Matthew G. Summers in Baltimore and Delaware; Sharon M. Bertelsen, who is Of Counsel in Salt Lake City and Washington, D.C.; and Business and Finance Associates Conor R. Crawford and Andrew D. Spruiell in Boulder and Denver.

Based in Pittsburgh, Everest Infrastructure Partners is a privately owned operator of communications infrastructure assets. It provides infrastructure to all major wireless operators and operates communications tower assets in more than 40 states throughout the United States. This is the eighth tower portfolio acquisition completed by Everest in the past two years.
