Lauren B. Ziegler represents publicly traded and privately held companies in a wide variety of corporate, securities, and business law matters. She regularly assists clients with entity formation, corporate law and corporate governance matters, public and private mergers and acquisitions, securities law reporting and compliance obligations, and public and private offerings of debt and equity securities.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, Ms. Ziegler served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Ellen L. Hollander on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and worked at an area law firm as an estate planning law clerk. Before attending law school, she was a paralegal who concentrated on commercial real estate transactions.
Pro Bono Experience
Ms. Ziegler regularly participates in Wills for Heroes, where she prepares essential legal documents, such as wills, living wills, and powers of attorney, for first responders. She has also counseled nonprofit organizations on corporate governance matters and secured asylum for a Liberian refugee.
