Shawn McIntire's practice encompasses all aspects of closely held businesses, with an emphasis on tax issues. Mr. McIntire's focus includes federal and local taxation, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate restructuring, succession planning, and exit strategy.

He advises on partnership allocation and distribution strategies, tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions and state and federal tax settlements. Mr. McIntire has a diverse roster of clients, including many in the technology, food and beverage, professional services and manufacturing sectors.

Mr. McIntire also represents a variety of clients in franchise matters including franchisor compliance and franchisee acquisitions.
