Vincent J. Marriott III is a partner in the Litigation Department and Practice Leader of the Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Capital Recovery Group. He is also a member of the CCRC Financing and Workout, Health Care, and Commercial Real Estate Recovery Groups. Mr. Marriott is experienced representing corporate and other types of commercial businesses, financial institutions and trade creditors, and acquirers of distressed assets in the areas of corporate finance, workouts and reorganizations, recapitalizations, and asset purchases and sales, both inside and outside of insolvency proceedings.
Mr. Marriott also has a general commercial litigation practice. He has extensive experience representing trade creditors and creditors' committees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including most recently as committee counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 proceeding of National Century Financial Enterprises, Inc. He is also experienced in prosecuting and defending preference actions.
