Donald J. Goldberg is special counsel in the Litigation Department and a member of the Corporate and Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Group. His practice is concentrated in the area of white-collar crime.

Mr. Goldberg has represented organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to those more closely held. His individual representations have included lawyers, doctors, public officials, business people, prosecutors, and other law enforcement personnel. Although his primary focus is to avoid prosecution, he has appeared for the defense at every level of the process, from investigation through trial and appeal, when necessary.

In 1999, U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist appointed Mr. Goldberg to a three-year term on the Federal Judicial Conference's Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure. In 2003, the Chief Justice extended his committee membership for an additional term.

Mr. Goldberg has been described in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as the "top dog of the white-collar crime Bar" and "head and shoulders above the rest" (2007 edition). Chambers recognizes him as "the dean of the white-collar Bar in the state, and one of the best in the country" in its 2008 and 2009 editions. In the 2010 edition, he was named "Philadelphia Best Lawyers Criminal Defense: White-Collar Lawyer of the Year."
