David B. Gifford

David B. Gifford is a partner in the Real Estate Department, and a member of the Real Estate Development, Finance, and Leasing; Tax; REITs; Commercial Real Estate Recovery; Communications; Higher Education; and Transactional Finance Groups; and the Climate Change and Sustainability Initiative.

Mr. Gifford's practice is concentrated in real estate and related corporate and general business matters, including extensive experience with commercial, industrial, and residential real estate planning, acquisition, development, construction, leasing, and operations; franchise operations and agreements; ground lease and commercial, office, and retail lease transactions; partnership and corporate organization and operation; real estate syndication; dispute resolution; construction and permanent loan financing; troubled project work-outs; bankruptcy planning; zoning and subdivision; real estate taxation; and real estate and construction litigation.
