Tracy S. Dowling is an associate in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity, Securities, Health Care, Life Sciences/Technology, and International Groups.
Ms. Dowling concentrates her practice on public and private merger and acquisition transactions, securities matters (including public and private securities offerings and public disclosure), licensing transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and corporate governance.
Pro Bono Experience
Ms. Dowling has advised pro bono clients on selecting and forming charitable entities as well as applying for tax-exempt status. She has also assisted pro bono clients in negotiating and preparing commercial services agreements.
Before joining Ballard Spahr, Ms. Dowling worked in London as corporate counsel for Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm, with responsibility for Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Her work included drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements with pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, and telecommunications companies; nonprofits/foundations; and governments.
