Penny M. Costa maintains a broad-based litigation practice in which she has represented many different businesses and industries in high-stakes litigation involving a wide array of issues, from the distribution of music royalties to the cancellation of stock options and the enforcement of copyrights. Her experience encompasses a diverse cross-section of the law, including copyright and First Amendment, with an emphasis on business disputes and intellectual property litigation.
Ms. Costa uses her broad litigation background and extensive experience to provide practical and efficient results for her clients. She represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as in administrative proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. An experienced litigator, she has also handled many appellate matters, successfully briefing and presenting cases before the California Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Costa has been designated a Southern California "Super Lawyer" every year since 2007.
