Hillary G. Benson is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Mortgage Banking and Consumer Financial Services Groups. Ms. Benson represents mortgage bankers, servicers, and other lenders in a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters, including wrongful foreclosure claims and disputes under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and state consumer protection statutes. Before joining Ballard Spahr, she was a litigation associate with a major law firm in Washington, D.C.
