Michael L. Allen is a partner in the Real Estate Department and Practice Leader of the Real Estate Leasing Group. He is also a member of the Real Estate Development, Real Estate Finance, Commercial Real Estate Recovery, Energy and Project Finance, and Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Capital Recovery Groups.
Mr. Allen concentrates his practice in the areas of land acquisition and development and commercial leasing (industrial, office, and retail). He has represented local, regional, and national clients in commercial real estate transactions since 1984.
Representative Matters
- Prepared and negotiated industrial warehouse leases for a national developer of more than 70 million square feet of warehouse space
- Prepared and negotiated office building leases for institutional owners and investors
- Represented a joint venture in the development of a 400-plus-acre business park in a public-private partnership using excess government land
