Daniel F. Albert is an associate in the Public Finance Department and a member of the Tax Group. Mr. Albert has significant experience with Sections 103 and 141-150 of the Internal Revenue Code relating to tax-exempt bonds, and has worked on numerous funding and refunding transactions, some of which include state and local, 501(c)(3), hospital, university, student loan, and low-income housing.

Before joining Ballard Spahr, Mr. Albert was in private law practice in New York, successfully closing more than 50 transactions involving billions of dollars in bonds for state and local governments and agencies. He also previously served as a senior tax associate with KPMG's International Corporate Tax Services Group in Houston.
