Angela W. Adams is a staff attorney in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust, Appellate, and Complex Commercial Litigation Groups. Her practice is concentrated in complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Adams is experienced in antitrust, bankruptcy, contract and business association disputes, employment litigation, trademark disputes, trade dress infringement issues, railroad litigation, and real estate transactions. In addition to her experience with judicial proceedings, she has resolved disputes through administrative proceedings, mediation, and arbitration.
Ms. Adams has represented property owners in disputes regarding the existence of unrecorded easements and has defended property sellers in actions for breach of contract brought by purchasers or potential purchasers. She has also participated in rulemaking proceedings before the Utah Public Service Commission for the establishment of new regulations on rates, terms, and conditions of pole attachments and conduits.
Ms. Adams has represented manufacturers in product liability actions, including defending an herbal manufacturer against product liability suits brought by distributors and a nutritional products company in a case of trademark and trade dress infringement.
