Erica A. Leatham, Of Counsel in the Real Estate Department at Ballard Spahr LLP, has been named to the Washington Business Journal’s 2010 "40 Under 40" list of outstanding regional business leaders.
Each year, the Washington Business Journal honors 40 outstanding professionals under the age of 40 for their business success and community involvement. Ms. Leatham is one of only three attorneys recognized for the award in 2010.

Ms. Leatham is an experienced land-use attorney in Ballard Spahr's Bethesda office, where she advises on such matters as site plan, special exceptions, subdivision approvals, historic preservation, local map amendments, zoning text amendments, master-plan issues, and building permit issues.
Ms. Leatham has also handled numerous appeals of real estate tax assessment and negotiated substantial tax reductions.
