Attorney Sara V. Ransom, whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and product liability matters, including mass torts, has joined Ballard Spahr in the Phoenix office.
"Sara's products liability work is especially beneficial to our clients in the West," said Stephen M. Savage, managing partner of Ballard Spahr's Phoenix office. "She is a great addition to the office and the litigation practice."
Ms. Ransom has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in various industries across the United States. In addition to her work in products liability, toxic torts, and business torts, she has handled breach of contract cases, real estate disputes, employment matters, securities regulation matters, and civil appellate work. Her experience includes federal and state court trials and alternative dispute resolution for complex commercial matters.
Ms. Ransom maintains an active pro bono practice, representing domestic violence victims seeking assistance in child support and custody matters.

Ms. Ransom is a member of Ballard Spahr's Complex Commercial Litigation Group and Product Liability and Mass Tort Group. She earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona and her J.D. from the university's James E. Rogers College of Law.
