Sapna K. Anderson, an associate in the Litigation Department of Ballard Spahr LLP, was named a "Rising Star" by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Minority Bar Committee. The committee recognized Ms. Anderson for her significant contributions to the committee and the bar association.
A member of Ballard Spahr's Complex Commercial Litigation and Corporate and Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Groups, Ms. Anderson has been active with the Minority Bar Committee since 2006 and this past May led its Philadelphia Minority Law Day Subcommittee through one of its most successful annual events to date.
"It is a real honor to be recognized for work I find so very rewarding," Ms. Anderson said. "The Minority Bar Committee's mission is vital to the continued growth of the field of law within the state, and I'm very pleased to play a role in the committee's success."
Ms. Anderson, whose practice includes business, environmental, and real estate litigation, has also served on the executive board of the South Asian Bar Association of Philadelphia since 2007. In addition, she maintains an active pro bono practice and was honored on the 2008 Roll of Honor from the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.
