Mitzie Smith-Mack, a member of Ballard Spahr's Real Estate Department, has been named partner at the firm, effective July 1. Ms. Smith-Mack is a member of the Housing Group and the Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs and Contracting Group.
She represents housing authority clients in HOPE VI and mixed-finance development transactions and provides legal assistance on regulatory and administrative matters. She also assists local governments, private companies, and nonprofit organizations on affordable housing and community development issues.
