Roger Thomasch, managing partner of Ballard Spahr’s Denver office, was named among the Top 10 Super Lawyers for 2011 by Law Week Colorado. Mr. Thomasch is one of three of the top 10 who attended law school at Duke University. He said the Duke classes of the mid-1960s produced particularly good crops of lawyers thanks to the recruiting efforts of Dean Jack Latty.
"At that time, Duke law school was very aggressively trying to recruit people who would otherwise have gone to top-tier schools in the Ivy League, the University of Virginia, or the University of Michigan," Mr. Thomasch said.
