Ballard Spahr lawyer Gina Maisto Smith, who was hired last month by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to investigate a new round of complaints against alleged predatory priests, said she is determined to provide justice to victims.
"They have taken a risk in bringing me on, because my lens is fiercely protecting children," said Ms. Smith, a former sex-crimes prosecutor.
