Ethan B. Minkin, who is noted for his work helping banks and financial institutions maneuver bankruptcy proceedings, has joined Ballard Spahr as a partner in the firm's Phoenix office. Mr. Minkin will represent creditors and debtor-in-possession lenders in bankruptcy cases and will advise clients on securitizations and transactional work. "I joined Ballard Spahr because of its national presence and its strong East Coast presence," Mr. Minkin told Law 360. "I think the firm's platform will be amenable to my practice."
