In the final hours of debate over the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010, the legal task force assembled by Ballard Spahr to help clients understand and comply with the legislation was also busy preparing. "There are provisions of the bill that deal with all public companies," noted Ms. Mullany. "Some of our clients are reaching out to us to make sure we are on top of it and aware of what changes there are going to be for them and when those changes might be made."
