Carl A. Eklund always seems to get the unusual cases. The Ballard Spahr senior counsel has been handling bankruptcy cases for nearly 40 years and has represented companies ranging from diamond giant DeBeers to Frontier Airlines and the Denver Aquarium. Mr. Eklund tells Law Week Colorado, "Bankruptcy is an opportunity to save something in a different form. It's not perfect, but if you work at it long enough, you can cobble together something that should work."
