Stanley D. Mabbitt is one of the nation's leading attorneys in the area of consumer financial services, with extensive experience working in the industry from all vantage points—first as a government regulator working for the Federal Reserve; later as a law firm partner based in Washington, D.C., and in Phoenix; followed by six years as in-house counsel at one of the nation's largest banks. A Founding Member of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers, Mr. Mabbitt has held several leadership positions on the American Bar Association's Consumer Financial Services Committee, including Chair of the Truth-in-Lending Subcommittee.

Mr. Mabbitt counsels financial institutions on compliance with state and federal statutes and regulations and implementation of consumer lending programs, including residential mortgage, credit card, equity line, and overdraft products. He also counsels mortgage bankers and brokers regarding compliance issues.
